The apparent murder-suicide of Chris Benoit really creates More Questions Than Answers

News of the apparent murder and suicide of the very popular WWE wrestler Chris Benoit left me with mixed emotions: sadness and dismay.

Unlike so many men past 60, which would not be caught dead admitting just pro wrestling on television in a polite, worldly, sophisticated public environment, I embraced the recording and stopped.

I think Chris Benoit would have done the same thing. Benoit's presence boob tube has never been a good chat, never as charismatic as wewould have liked, never a braggart, never a braggart, never uncomfortable, never blasphemers, but always quiet, real, genuine and tough as leather.

There is no telling how many championship Benoit (pronounced Ben-WAH) would be allowed to win if he all the things that other wrestlers like "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, the "Heartbreak Kid" Shaun Michaels and "The Cerebral Assassin "Triple HHH (Hunter Hurst Helmsley) on display.

Do not understand what I am here to share. Imet Triple H, I loved Ric Flair and Shaun Michaels as a competitor, and I loved Benoit more than a pure competitor.

Benoit, Flair and Michales have probably taken more punishment in the ring, won more games and won more titles than any other competitor. Only to find out a few competitors and few fans ever imagined that anyone can court in pro wrestling, but those who can hand out, and defy the penalty will be finally victorious.

Chris Benoit was born in Montreal,Canada and grew up in the same wrestling community as Stu Hart and his sons, most of them were Bret Hart and Owen Hart. Benoit was voted the greatest wrestling mat with talent and ability only by Michaels and Flair, and perhaps should not be crossed Bret Hart.

Benoit was a former World Heavyweight Champion, Intercontinental Champion, and some time Tag Team Champion. His ring names included "The Canadian Crippler" and "The Rabid Wolverine".

Benoit reminded me of a lot of EddieGuerrero. Both Guerrero and Owen Hart died much too soon, Owen wrestling promotion of a tragic accident which should never happen, and Guerrero from an apparent overdose of prescription drugs.

Like Owen Hart and Eddie Guerrero, Benoit was almost always liked by his fellow entertainers and sports superstars in the WWE locker room.

I do not think that Vince McMahon (Vinny Mac) on the World Wrestling Entertainment owner and probably the most talented sportsEntertainment promoters always really tolerate a person be so quiet and just as Christ Benoit met.

Therefore, it is as such a shock came to me that Benoit had allegedly strangled his 43-year-old wife, Nancy, strangled his 7-year-old son Daniel and then committed suicide by hanging himself on the cable of a weight-training machine at home . I can not comprehend the unspeakable horror of his wife or son realizing their circumstance when Benoit seemingly lost control of hisLife.

Their bodies were found in three separate rooms of their house from a gravel road about two miles from the Whitewater Country Club near Atlanta. Holy Bibles were left next to Benoit wife and son.

Benoit had Atlanta address from the time he fought for the defunct World Championship Wrestling maintained. The Fayette County Tax Assessors Office listed the value of the house, to more than 8.5 hectares, is situated at nearly 900,000 U.S. dollars. The same house and property inConnecticut, California and Seattle, Washington would probably be valued at $ 2 million +.

I know the pain of suicide as my sister Loretta committed suicide. She was a victim of MS (multiple sclerosis) and had apparently lost all hope of a better life in the advanced stage of their illness. I came to know that people have lost, commit suicide, all hope of a better life.

I certainly do not tolerate killing of an immediate family on their way to commit suicide, murder in thisCircumstance seems cowardly to me, and if there is one thing that I had never thought about Benoit that he was a coward. I thought he was just the opposite.

Since this tragic story unfolds, it has been for a life on its own in the national media partly because of the incredible events that have surfaced since the tragedy. These include:

The rumor that Benoit and his wife fought constantly about money, although he was apparently $ 500.000 + as a professionalWrestler for WWE.

The rumor that Benoit and his wife was on the best way to raise their son Daniel, the undersized and may struggle a special needs child.

The fact that Benoit said his wife filed for divorce in 2003, the three-year Union broke irrevocably and violation "cruel treatment." Later, let the action and a request for an injunction interim.

The fact that Benoit's personal page to Wikipedia, a reference site, with the Add Userand edit information, was about 14 hours before authorities say that the corpses were on Monday, 25 Of June, updated. The update, said the reason Benoit a game on Saturday of the fateful weekend, has been missed, "resulting from the death of his wife Nancy." The source was followed by a user in Stamford, Connecticut, but claimed no connection to WWE, which has its headquarters in Stamford.

The fact that anabolic steroids in the Benoit home, found it led officials to ask if the medications playedRole in the killings that began on the weekend of the 22nd June. Some experts believe steroids can paranoia, depression and violent outbursts as "Roid Rage known cause." Toxicological tests on the body of Benoit's not yet complete.

The fact that Benoit had seen his personal physician and friend, Dr. Phil Astin, and taking prescription drugs, 22 June.

The fact that Dr. Astin prescribed a 10-month supply of anabolic steroids to Chris Benoit every three to four weeksbetween May 2006 and May 2007, filed after a Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agents in an affidavit.

The fact that the DEA appeared confirmed that Benoit's name was in a drug probe investigation occurred before the tragedy. The probe was identified as "RX Weight Loss" and Benoit as an excessive buyer of injectable steroids.

The fact that Dr. Astin was calculated exactly one week after the tragedy with improperly prescribing medications to twoPatient, but not Benoit. Additional charges may come.

For the record, since 1997 some 1,000 fighters 45 and younger have worked on pro wrestling circuits. By 1000, more than 65 since 1997, according to a report in USA Today (3-12-04 Issue), 25 died of heart attack or other coronary problems. Many had enlarged hearts. Another statistic from another source claiming, 104 wrestlers died prematurely in the last 10 years.

The list of steroid orprescription drug users include some big names: Hulk Hogan (real name Terry Bollea), former Minnesota Governor Jesse "The Body" Ventura, "Rowdy Roddy Piper (real name Roderick Toombs)," Stone Cold "Steve Austin, Bret" The Hit Man "Hart (Hart was also know as" The Excellence of Execution "), (Michael Paul" Triple H "Levesque also formerly known as Hunter Hearst Helmsley), Mark" Johnny B. Badd "Mero (Sable Man)," Superstar " Billy Graham, Jim "The Ultimate Warrior" Hellwig, Kevin "BigSexy "Nash, Jeff Hardy, Mike" Road Warrior Hawk "Hegstrand, Mike" Crash Holly "Lockwood, Scott" Raven "Levy, Eddie Guerrero," The British Bulldog "Davey Boy Smith, and the lesser-known" Strongman Johnny Perry

Why do they use steroids and drugs? This is a simple answer.

During a 15-minute game, entertainment choreographed pro wrestling replacement body slams and punches. Some leap from top ropes on cement surfaces outside the ring.

No matter how the choreographymoves, imagine lying in the ring and your opponent is a Eddie Guerrero "Frog Splash" is on you from 15 feet in the air. Stand on a 15-foot ladder in your front yard, diving down, smooth out, so that you hit parallel to your lawn. Does it hurt landing? You better believe it. In the more physical "hard core" match, wrestlers are smashed through tables, Spanking in the head with steel chairs and punctured with barbed wire and tacks. None of these dangerous escapades are fakes. Andthought pimping was hard. Try a pro wrestler.

Pro wrestlers have my full respect. They are incredibly well-conditioned and talented athletes who a put with a lot of my viewing experience.

My heart sinks when I see a genuine icon like Ric Flair wrestling at his age and to be able to get stomped the holy hell out of him in the interest of more and more violent entertainment. There are no words to express my anguish over Chris Benoit. God have mercy on his soul, and may God takeBenoit's wife Nancy and son Daniel in his arms to the sky.

Perhaps Benoit's father Michael has it best: "It is impossible to get a reasonable explanation for a very irrational act." My condolences goes to Chris Benoit family and all those who knew and loved Chris Benoit as one of the greatest pro wrestling entertainers of our generation.
